Volunteer positions at or during PG Night (Senior parents, you can sit this one out)

Just a few weeks to go until the Class of 2023 dons their caps and gowns. We've got a lot to cover, so let's get at it!

  • Volunteers needed! Calling all parents of kids in lower grades: we need YOU to VOLUNTEER AT THE BIG PROJECT GRADUATION EVENT on Friday, June 3. Parents of seniors are not allowed to volunteer at Project Graduation. Someday, that will be you! But right now, you can pay it forward. We need YOUR help—as chaperones, food servers, and entertainment helpers—to run the all-night, substance-free party that all grads will enjoy and remember for the rest of their lives. Click through to the GIGANTIC PG2023 Main Event SignUpGenius today! It's so big because we need so much help. Thank you! We are still collecting gift cards to be handed out as prizes, which the kids love. Here is a separate SignUpGenius for gift card donations.

  • Henna artist wanted! We're still on the hunt for a henna artist. If you are a parent with henna art skills and you'd like to volunteer your time at this year's event, please send us an email.

There are many opportunities to help! Come to some of our Project Graduation meetings to find out more. Or just sign up for the night! Most volunteer opportunities are for the night of graduation into the morning after. When signing up as a volunteer, please use your name as it appears on your driver's license. Volunteers working during the event must have a current CORI (criminal offender record information) check.

CORI checks are valid for 3 years. Because of the size of our district, all CORI checks are renewed on a 3-year calendar basis, as opposed to a rolling basis. We are accepting CORIs for volunteering in the school for this new 3-year CORI cycle (January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023). All parent volunteers will need a CORI check by the beginning of next school year, September 1, 2022. If you find yourself at the Jr. High and would like to update your CORI, please stop by the main office. You only need a CORI check once for the entire district, not for each school.

There are fun ways to help out before, during, and after the big event. Take a look; we're sure you'll find something that suits your schedule and your many talents.
